I found this wool in my stash. I <em>think<\/em> this is wool that I dyed myself, but I&#8217;m not sure when I got it or what type of wool it is. It feels like <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bluefaced_Leicester\">BFL<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Polwarth_sheep\">Polwarth<\/a>, a bit on the strong side, and not as soft as <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Merino\">merino<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Looking at the colours, I decided that <a href=\"https:\/\/knitty.com\/ISSUEff10\/KSFEATff10glossary.php\">chain plying<\/a> would be the best way to construct the yarn. Not wanting anything too bulky, I spun the single at about 32 wpi (wraps per inch), which resulted in about 12 wpi in the final yarn (approximately sport weight).
