Gosh, it’s been well over a year since my last post. It’s not that I’ve stopped weaving – I just haven’t been writing posts. Clearly, I’m not doing a good job of keeping up the way I originally conceived this blog. So time for a bit of a re-focus. Rather than making each post such a big thing (completed project, pretty pictures, etc.), I’ll try to post more regularly about work in progress and stuff. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

While I finished several weaving, spinning, and even knitting projects in 2023, my list of current projects just keeps growing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently on the loom – nothing! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I finished a small twill gamp on New Year’s Eve —<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And I’m working on turning this cone of thread into fabric to sew with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fibre content unknown – I purchased this on eBay probably 10-15 years ago. From a burn test I think it’s a poly-cotton blend. I’m currently measuring out a 1200+ end warp, but more about this in the weeks to come.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
