No more commuting &#8211; so we&#8217;ve decided to schedule a regular Monday morning walk and breakfast (at least while the weather is warm). Today&#8217;s destination was <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.brisbane.qld.gov.au\/clean-and-green\/natural-environment-and-water\/bushland-reserves\/karawatha-forest-park\" target=\"_blank\">Karawatha Forest<\/a>. Less than 15 minutes from home and we were walking in the forest, listening to the birds sing. Even at 7am, it was warm and humid, but the 50-minute, 3.5km walk was good exercise. We saw a few joggers on the trails, but it was certainly not crowded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>After that walk, we earned our breakfast. We stopped on the way home at <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.zomato.com\/brisbane\/mi-casa-cafe-underwood\/menu\" target=\"_blank\">Mi Casa Cafe<\/a> in Underwood where I had some poached eggs with haloumi and chimichurri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/spinweaveknit.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/chimichurri-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-97\" srcset=\"https:\/\/spinweaveknit.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/chimichurri-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/spinweaveknit.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/chimichurri-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/spinweaveknit.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/chimichurri-1152x1536.jpg 1152w, https:\/\/spinweaveknit.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/chimichurri.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 767px) 89vw, (max-width: 1000px) 54vw, (max-width: 1071px) 543px, 580px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>All in all, a good way to start the week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Monday mornings take on a whole new meaning when you are completely in charge of your own schedule.
